The town of Vulcan, Alberta made application to have the new Star Trek movie premier in Vulcan – didn’t matter to the townspeople that they don’t have a movie theatre; alas, they were denied the honour. Although this is sad, Leonard Nemoy called the town the other day (really!) to say that he plans to drop by this summer. I’m sure the town will be totally vulcanized for his arrival!
