Because I’m Crazy….

I decided  to bake cupcakes in our  97 degree kitchen  yesterday. You can bake an egg on our counter top…..hmmmm….I should heat the oven to 350 degrees and make 36 cupcakes! At least they turned our really well and tasted yummy!!! My my baking excitement started when I ventured out to Whole Foods (lovely) and found whole vanilla beans ($9.99 for two….ouch) and chunk coconut.

Next time I will definitely turn the air conditioning on.

We watched Helvetica this weekend and both REALLY liked it I highly recommend it!!

Helvetica is the feature-length independent film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture. It looks at the proliferation of one typeface, which celebrated its 50th birthday in 2007, as part of a larger conversation about the way type affects our lives. Helvetica encompasses the worlds of design, advertising, psychology, and communication, and invites us to take a second look at the thousands of words we see every day.
