Faye and Greer
{photo from MS via Brooklyn Bride’s flickr pool}
I just stumbled upon a new blog called Faye and Greer, it is a mother and daughter who live in different states and are planning a wedding. I can totally relate to this blog, because my mom and I planned a wedding two years ago from different countries. This is such a great idea!! Plus, they have lovely ideas.
”For the past few months, Faye and I have been planning a wedding while living in a different states. As this is the first time for me as a bride and for Faye as the mother of the bride, we didn’t even know where to begin! Phone calls just wouldn’t work and we didn’t want to buy two of every wedding magazine, so we started emailing pictures that we had collected that we either liked, loved, or just couldn’t resist sharing with each other (there are some very nutty wedding ideas out there!).
We had so much fun exchanging pictures that we decided it would be fun to keep it going once we are through with wedding planning, and we agreed that it would be fun to share them with other mothers & daughters in a blog! We hope that mothers and daughters at all stages will enjoy our posts, and if you are planning a wedding- either as the bride or the mother of the bride- maybe you will see something that you like and can use yourself. At the very least, we hope to introduce you to new pretty ideas everyday!”

Flying in Silence
Now I’m really looking forward to the flight to Germany. We bought a pair of Bose Noise Cancelling headphones for me this weekend. My husband got a pair for Christmas and they are FANTASTIC, you literally cannot hear the plane AT ALL!! I think they are worth every penny, since I have a hard time sleeping on airplanes. Now he won’t have to worry about me stealing them from him during the flight. We can both fly in peaceful silence!! Ahhhhh!

Beach Weekend
On Sunday, we decided to head down to Ventura (to cool off). We had a wonderful time, ate Mexican food, sat on the beach, watched the sunset, played with Dottie in the water. Fun was had by all!!!!
