This Cupcake Means Business

After my ”Emtpy Nest” cupcake post, my sister-in-law brought THIS from Not Martha to my attention!!! WOW!!! That is a beast of a cupcake. It looks like it is going to inhale the woman decorating it. AWESOME!!

BIG CHEESE!

Every Friday at work someone in the office brings in food and we relax for about an hour. Having a craving for pizza, I decided to check out Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzaria, downtown Los Angeles. The pizza I ordered is called the Big Mama and is 28 inches. HUGE!!! Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria also make a 36 inch pizza for $69.99. They had to carry the pizza on a cart because it is soooo big!!

Stay Home and Relax

I’m finding it really hard to focus on work today.  I like work, I just wish today was a stay at home and relax day. Here are 10 things I would rather being doing.

8. Taking Dottie for a super long walk, while listening to my iPod.

5. Reading by the pool.

4. Sewing something with my new Amy Butler fabric.

3. Planting my new rose bushes.

2. Getting a manicure and pedicure.

Bag Lady in Training

It’s not the prettiest bag, but the organizer inside is genius.

Hmmmm….or maybe I’m just turning into a crazy bag lady.

Affordable Domination

Today at lunch, I popped into Macy’s and discovered that Martha Stewart had invaded. Her new home collection was being displayed and I have to say that I like it!! I collect cake stands and could not resist the smallest one (the recipe box will have to wait). They are cheap too, $14.99 for the small and $29.99 for the large. At least Martha will dominate the world with affordable pricing.

Visitors

We’ve had VERY unwelcome house guests for over a week. ANTS!!!! I HATE THEM!!!  I think they are taunting me, I keep finding them everywhere, on my skirt as I drive to work, in my purse, in our dishwashwer.  I’m hoping the stuff we used to spray the crap out of them works. We went to Lowes last night to buy ant killer (yeah for dead ants!!) and I was suprised that they had deer repellent. Ok, I guess ants aren’t that bad!! We’ll see….

Chalk Much

I want a giant chalk board in our house. I know that they are an allergy nightmare, but I don’t care they look pretty. These two examples from Sfgirlbybay and The Scoop make chalk boards look stylish, chic and practical.
