The Tale of Our Couch

About a year and a half ago, as we snooping through the “As Is” section of Ikea, we stumbled upon a couch for $100. At the time with moving costs, security and pet deposits, oh yeah, and a wedding, we didn’t have a lot of money left over to buy furniture. Before hitting the $100 Ikea Couch Jackpot we were watching TV on the floor. We finally went to Ikea because I screamed “I DO NOT WANT TO SIT ON THE FLOOR ANYMORE!!” After about a year an a half of having a mini couch, I now scream “I DO NOT WANT A TWO SEATER COUCH ANYMORE!” I want a couch you can have a nap on and cozy in. I’ve been searching everywhere for the perfect couch and I have found a lot of great options; however they are usually $2000-$4000.  Maybe I’m cheap, or maybe we just have a dog that sheds and has dirty paws, but I’m not investing $2000+ on a couch for our first place.
